It’s hard to believe that the WV Pumpkin Festival has been an annual tradition for almost a quarter century. To mark this milestone, plans are underway for the WV Pumpkin Festival 25th Anniversary Cookbook! We invite you to submit recipes for consideration to be published in our upcoming cookbook, which will be available in the fall of 2010. Whether it’s original recipes or ones that have been passed down from generation to generation we would love for you share them with us.
- If mailing recipe type or print clearly. Please submit each recipe on a separate page.

Please include your name, address, phone number and category with each recipe submitted.

List all ingredients in order of use in the ingredients list and directions.

Include container sizes, e.g., 16-oz. pkg., 24-oz. can.

Use names of ingredients in directions, e.g., “combine flour and sugar.”

Do not use statements like, “combine first three ingredients.”

Include temperatures and cooking, chilling, baking, and/or freezing times.

If you have a Cook’s Note, put it at the bottom of directions section.

Your recipes should fit into the following categories:

Breads & Brunch
Soups & Salads
Main Dishes
Slow Cooker Favorites
Casseroles
Vegetables & Side Dishes
Cookies & Candy
Desserts
This & That

Keep in mind that all recipes submitted may not be published due to duplications.
